Frequently asked questions
Can we keep our existing phone numbers?
In almost all cases, yes. Numbers are ported from your current carrier to the new platform. Porting is scheduled deliberately so there is no window where calls are unanswered.
Will a hosted phone system work if the internet drops?
Calls over the internet stop when the link does, which is why critical sites are given a failover connection or calls are diverted to mobiles automatically. The failure behaviour is configured in advance.
What makes business internet different from a home connection?
Support priority, fault response commitments and options such as static addressing and failover. Consumer plans are best-effort, which is workable at home and expensive when an office cannot trade.
