What it involves

Your data is your asset. The security and reliability of this data is paramount. We can ensure that all your data can be restored with the least amount of downtime when there is a disaster or data loss. We use the latest and most up to date software to securely back up your valuable data onsite and offsite.

Why it matters

  • Recovery from ransomware without paying, because clean copies exist offsite.
  • A defined recovery time, so leadership knows how long an outage will last.
  • Protection against accidental deletion and departing-staff data loss.
  • Evidence of data protection for insurers, auditors and tender responses.

What's included

  • Complete end-to-end data backup management.
  • Block level encryption of backup data.
  • Full backup management and monitoring.
  • Cloud replication for disaster recovery.
  • Business continuity planning.

Frequently asked questions

Is Microsoft 365 data already backed up?

Not in the way most people assume. Microsoft protects the platform and offers limited retention, but recovering data deleted or encrypted beyond that window is your responsibility. A separate backup of mail, files and sites is recommended.

How often should backups run?

It depends on how much work you can afford to lose. Businesses that transact continuously usually back up several times a day; others find a daily cycle acceptable. The interval is set from that tolerance, not from a default.

How do we know a backup will actually restore?

By testing it. Restores are performed on a schedule and the results recorded, so recovery is a rehearsed process rather than something first attempted during an outage.
